- About Red Wind
The Nisqually Red Wind Casino has a new seafood restaurant. “Whether you’re hungry for wild-caught salmon, halibut, or any other local fish or seafood, our restaurant offers variety, freshness, and customer service second to none,” said Bob Darling, restaurant manager. It also is becoming a favorite among sushi lovers.
Guests can enjoy a meal at a cozy table, or head over to the bar and watch the chef prepare fresh seafood before their eyes. They can ask questions about seasonings and preparation.
“No matter what our chefs prepare, it’s never far from harvest to plate,” said Darling. “Northwest tribal fishermen provide us the very best salmon and halibut. Our produce is local and seasonal. Our oysters and clams come from local shellfish farms, and foods not raised locally are carefully sourced from tribes throughout the United States.”
Chef Roberto Los Banos brings a Hawaiian flair to the fresh seafood dishes he prepares. And the sushi bar has a lot of regulars. Another menu option also is growing in popularity. Dubbed “Eventide,” the restaurant offers a three-course meal every Monday through Thursday from 3-6 p.m. for $19.95.
